Steve Nesich – Principal
Steve has been developing conferences and events for technology companies since the late 1980’s. Steve’s background includes working with executive management from Oracle, AT&T, Sony, Pfizer, VeriSign, Sun Microsystems, Union Carbide, Reynolds Metals, Hewlett-Packard, Procter & Gamble, Georgia-Pacific, and others. He is a frequent speaker and educator. Steve holds a BA from Hampshire College and an MA from the University of Washington.
Steve Charen – Principal
Steve brings extensive experience in the legal and technology arena, most prominently from his years with the law firm of Patterson, Belknap, Webb & Tyler and as lead counsel for the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Codes and Standards. He also has a strong background in medical and pharmaceutical issues, acquired while working on behalf of Johnson & Johnson. Steve holds AB and MPA degrees from Princeton University and a JD from New York University School of Law.
Ivan Kimmelman – Principal
Ivan has over 20 years experience in systems engineering and software development, with a focus in the medical and pharmaceutical industries. He has managed and implemented a wide range of solutions for marketing, e-commerce, expert engineering, medical therapy, manufacturing automation, and research systems. A graduate of Colorado College, Ivan holds degrees in both English and Mechanical Engineering.
David Wolpe – Principal
David was an early user of the Internet and understood its business potential for technology firms, knowledge-based companies and the entertainment industry. He has designed, managed, and developed Rich Internet Applications using a wide range of technologies including Java and Flex. David also has a wealth of experience in the financial realm, having worked with the Motley Fool and other investment-focused companies. He has developed advanced tools to help determine ROI for corporate events. An international specialist, David is fluent in French and Italian. David holds a BA from Amherst College and MA from the University of California Los Angeles.
Bill McNamara – Senior Associate
Bill’s broad background includes special event production, print publications, music and fashion videos, film and television and related fields. He has also organized events for a broad range of corporate, educational and non-profit organizations, including Disney, MGM, BNSF Railway, Pella Corporation and the U.S. Department of Education. Formerly Executive Director of the Rocky Ridge Music Center, Bill holds degrees from Boston University and the University of Washington.
Allan Hoving – Senior Associate
Allan began his career as a writer and editor at Rolling Stone, New York Magazine, and Mediapost's OMMA (which he helped launch). More recently, he served as Online Community Leader for ExecuNet.com, where he produced webinars for audiences of senior-level executives. Allan went on to develop several innovative offerings as Online Product Manager for F+W Media, working with a dozen websites. A graduate of Columbia College, he is now completing a Master's degree in Interactive Communications at Quinnipiac University.
